Which captures international trends
“The beauty of wine lies in history and tradition, underpinned by modernity.”
Our range – whether a Bordeaux Châteaux or international brands – is presented on all five continents. We export to almost 30 countries, including the United Kingdom, Brazil, the United States, Australia, China, Scandinavia, Germany, Japan and even the Seychelles.
These are markets with their own culture, identity and way of operating and which evolve quickly. It is therefore important to capture and understand all the trends and fluctuations in order to meet the needs of our clients and consumers.
Each year, our entire team participates in numerous international professional fairs, such as Vinexpo Bordeaux, Hong Kong, New York and ProWein in Düsseldorf. These annual encounters are essential to present our new projects and concepts.
Of our values
Whether to design a label, a style of wine or an innovative distribution channel, our team responds and sets the trend. We were, for example, among the first to market Bordeaux wines with screw caps (Stelvin) on the English market.
We also innovate with the packaging, using printed sleeves or even digital printing of sequential labels.
Our œnologists have also developed an ancient vinification practice, in traditional Spanish tinajas.
Finally, we are proud to be a leader in matters of sustainable development, notably obtaining the ECOCERT label in 2000. The development of our brands produced with organic farming is a reflection of our environmental commitment, which goes hand in hand with the evolution of our firm.
We guarantee the best quality wine at the best price possible on the market. This is possible thanks to the expertise of our team, our œnologists and the good relations established with producers and clients.
The numerous medals and prizes that our wines receive each year bear witness to this quality. For us it is important that all our partner producers meet international quality standards.
Our team supports them to obtain BRC and IFS certifications, with HACCP working practices and with the ISO standard for their complete production system.
FAMILIES OF PRODUCERS
More than just partners
In a series of meetings over the years, the firm Benoit Valerie Calvet has built up partnerships based on trust with wine growers and producers. These strong foundations have allowed them to extend their range to new winegrowing regions.
